I was recently asked if blow up sex dolls work by a friend. At first, my mind went blank – do I tell them the truth? Or try and sugarcoat it? One thing is for sure, vibrators I’m not particularly keen on the idea of a blow up sex doll, so my response was both honest and a little bit skeptical.
“Hmm, not sure,” I said. “I mean, I know they look the part but I can’t help but think that there’s something slightly off about them. They don’t quite feel the same, you know?”
I’ve heard plenty of stories about people using blow up sex dolls, and it almost always seems to end in disappointment. I’m not sure if it’s because they don’t really respond to the user in a human-like way, or if it’s just not possible to project your own desires or feelings onto them.
I’m sure that blow up sex dolls are fun and all, sex toys but I seriously doubt they’d ever replace a real human partner. The feelings and sensations you get when you’re with someone else just can’t be replicated with a lifeless artificial being.
Plus, you have to think about all those easy to tear seams. And you’ve still got to blow them up! Talk about hassle.
But then again, I don’t really know what it’s like to be in a serious relationship, so who am I to judge? I guess it’s like anything – if you’re into it and you find joy and pleasure in it, then who am I to say it’s wrong?
At the end of the day, I’m sure blow up sex dolls can be quite enjoyable. But I just can’t get my head around why someone would choose that over someone real. It almost feels like people are running away from life or something. I know that probably sounds a bit harsh, but it’s just my honest opinion, you know?
Still, I must admit I’m intrigued by the concept. I can just imagine the satisfaction people get from it, and the privacy that it provides compared to going out and having a real-life lover.
Maybe I should try it out one day, just to see what all the fuss is about? I’m certainly open to it, if I’m ever given the chance. After all, one can never really know unless they try it, can they?
